Dayton Woman's volleyball team (the Flyers) earned NCAA berth with a sweep last Sunday against Saint Louis in the Atlantic 10 Championship at the Charles E. Smith Center in Washington, D.C. (25-19, 25-23, 25-20).
Dayton won its A-10 record 10th tournament title, and their 6th in the last 7 years. The improved the Flyers' record to 25-5.
Senior Alaina Turner was awarded the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament with 9 kills and 10 digs in the game. Senior Jill Loiars had 10 kills and sophomore Jane Emmenecker had 33 assists. Janna Krafka had 13 digs and senior Angel Agu had 6 blocks.
