TEHRAN, Jan. - The US and Iran don't agree with each other politically, I hope this friendly volleyball game may help. Tehran Times daily has reported on Saturday, the United States Volleyball Federation has invited the Iranian volleyball team to play four friendly matches in Los Angeles, California.
The US volleyball federation sent a letter to Iran on Thursday and officially invited the Iranians to hold a training camp in Los Angeles.
The Iranian team will play four friendlies against the US on August 9, 13, 15, and 16.
Iran defeated the US volleyball team 3-2 at the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Grand Champions Cup in Tokyo, Japan back in November.
Iran's freestyle wrestling team was also invited to the United States in May, 2013 and beat the US team 6-1 at historic Grand Central Terminal in New York city.
