Manhattan Beach’s Lane Carico won her first AVP championship last Sunday with Summer Ross winning against Brittany Hochevar of Hermosa Beach and Jen Fopma 21-17, 21-17 in the Seattle Open. Lane Carico is a former indoor volleyball standout at Mira Costa High School and the University of Miami.
The CBVA will be hosting tournaments at the Manhattan Beach Pier beginning on Saturday, June 18 with a Women’s Open and Men’s AA and B divisions. On Saturday,. June 25 Men’s AA, B, Women’s AA and A competitions will be held. For more information, visit cbva.com.
