The Philippine women's volleyball team will be meeting Thailand in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, August 15, at 5:30 pm. The Philippine team was able to dispose the 2015 Southeast Asian Games silver medalist Vietnam last Monday, August 14. With the confidence earned with their win over Vietnam, the Philippines is hopeful that they can beat Thailand. Their team is led by veteran players Alyssa Valdez, Jaja Santiago, and Maika Ortiz.
