The Serbian women’s volleyball team defeated Poland and secured a place in the 2018 FIVB Women’s World Championship in Japan qualifier over the weekend. However, after winning they posed for a photo above, which originally appeared above the FIVB’s story about the game but was later removed.
It certainly looks like the players are doing the racist slant-eyed gesture, presumably in reference to the fact that the 2018 world championship will be played in Japan and the players may have think that the gesture just shows their excitement about going to Japan.
