The NCAA Women’s Beach Volleyball Committee released on Sunday April 30 the 8 teams that will compete for the 2017 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship. The teams were selected from the 65 NCAA institutions sponsoring the sport of beach volleyball. There are three teams from the East and three teams from the West while the remaining two teams were selected at-large from the teams across the country. The eight teams were seeded.
The finalists selected from the East includes Florida State, LSU and South Carolina. While team from the West are Pepperdine, Southern California and UCLA the rest are Hawaii and Long Beach State.
Here are the Teams listed in seed order:

The championship games will begin on Friday up to Sunday, May 5-7, in Gulf Shores, Alabama, hosted by the city of Gulf Shores, University of Alabama at Birmingham and Orange Beach Sports Commission. The event will be televised live by Turner networks, with truTV providing live coverage on Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, from 3-6 p.m. ET and the championship round airing on TBS on Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m. ET. Additional live-streaming coverage of every court in each match of the tournament will be available on NCAA.com.
