Brook Sedore put on a show and slammed 25 kills and Hawaii (rank 10th) outblocked Stanford (rank 6th) 12-7 and it still wasn’t enough to beat Stanford. Stanford Cardinal defeated Hawaii Rainbow Warriors for a second straight night in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation volleyball play in Stanford, California 25-23, 25-13, 17-25, 21-25, 15-7.
Rainbow Warriors got swept last Friday’s match vs the Cardinal this time they fought back but still fall short.
Rainbow Warriors started strong and they got an early 4pt run to lead the match 5-3, but Stanford remained composed and got back in the set’s endgame. Stanford were able to tie the game at 21-21, and then Stanford ran to the finish, 25-23.
